Never throw away broth from cooking, - meats, fish - or vegetables. Save it to use later. It's a delightful extra flavorful way to dilute canned soups.
Refresh stale crackers and dry cereal by spreading them on a baking sheet and heating in a 350 oven until golden. I use this when I'm serving crackers ... it gives a nice nutty flavor that blends well with cheese - especially Brie and Gouda.
