Broccoli and Ham Quiche

10 Ounce chopped fresh broccoli

2 Cups chopped ham

1/3 Cup minced onion

Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 10 inch unbaked pie crust

4 eggs slightly beaten

2 Cups whipping Cram

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp granulated sugar

Cook broccoli in a large sauce pan of boiling water for 2 minutes. Pour into a strainer and drain, then run cold water over it to prevent further cooking - Drain again.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle broccoli, ham, onion and cheeses in pie crust. Blend eggs and cram. Add salt and sugar. Pour mixture in crust. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 and bake 35 to 40 minutes Longer. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Pie Crust for Quiche

1 Cup Flour

1/3 Cup Butter flavored shortening

tsp salt

3 tbls. Water - Cold

Cut flour into shortening, add salt, stir enough water to make a stiff dough. Knead slightly together. Chill dough before rolling out. Yield 1 (10 inch) crust. This dough is easy to handle.
